SALISBURY, N.C. — Livingstone College is proud to share that the George E. Battle School of Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship has received reaffirmation of specialized business accreditation for one or more of its business-related degree programs through December 31, 2032. The reaffirmation was approved by the Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) following a comprehensive review process conducted in December 2025, which included a thorough self-evaluation and an independent peer review of the College’s business programs. 

This achievement reflects Livingstone College’s continued commitment to academic excellence, ethical leadership, innovation, and student-centered learning. Through this rigorous evaluation, the George E. Battle School of Business demonstrated its dedication to maintaining high academic standards while preparing students for leadership and success in an evolving global business landscape. During the 2024-2025 school year, the School of Business hosted and participated in approximately 15–20 academic, professional development, and community engagement events, including conferences, industry town halls, financial literacy initiatives, international academic engagements, and professional networking programs. As one of the College’s largest academic units, the School of Business continues to play a vital role in student success, with approximately 30–35% of Livingstone College graduates earning degrees through the department.
